Sea Scouts
Scouts is a programme of exploration for school years 6 to 10
As Sea Scouts, we are members of the international Scouting movement, with a particular emphasis on water-based activities, including swimming, snorkelling, lifeguard work, boardsailing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and rowing.
The unit is for boys and girls and provides hands on opportunities to sail, cruise on boats, and learn navigation, in addition to the normal scouting activities of camping, hiking, and other bush-craft.
Our group aims to encourage the physical, mental, social and spiritual development of young people so that they may contribute to the development of themselves and to the community they live in.
